The forecasting programme starts keeping score — every month we now record a dated, checkable direction-of-travel read for each covered authority, built from the official long-run series. As the months pass you'll be able to see how often we were right — accuracy you can audit, not claims.

A more personal dashboard — switch the figures between this month, last month and all time; show, hide and reorder the dashboard widgets; and choose how sensitive your watchlist alerts are (every move, the standard bar, or major shifts only).

Sharper, more consistent brand — one wordmark everywhere, clearer button and label contrast across the site, dark-theme styling for the browser extension, and refreshed email styling to match the platform.

Reports now open with an executive briefing — every postcode report leads with a 60-second read: the verdict, the grade, how complete the underlying official signals are, and the direction of travel, before the detail. Composed entirely from the evidence already on the page.

Pattern Watch on Intelligence — for any searched postcode, Intelligence now shows the areas elsewhere in the country with the closest data profile, alongside each one's deprivation standing and ten-year council-tax trajectory. Framed as a pattern comparison to explore — not a prediction — with every figure traced to its official source.

Our own map, everywhere it matters — the coverage map and the dashboard's live area map now run on Truely's own dark vector map style: hairline roads, cyan authority boundaries and legible labels, built for reading signals at a glance. Live signals on the dashboard also now appear instantly and fill in area by area.

A more considered feel — the header turns to glass as you scroll, a live "Operational" status chip links to the status page, link previews and app icons carry the dark identity, and homepage sections now reveal gently as they enter view. Subtle by design, and switched off automatically if your device prefers reduced motion.

Search anything, from anywhere — a new command palette opens from the search icon in the header (or Ctrl/⌘+K) on every page, on every device. Type a postcode, an area or a page name and jump straight there. On mobile, the menu now leads with search and keeps Sign in and Sign up inside it, so the header stays clean.

A live board of your areas — the dashboard now lists every area you've saved or explored with its live Environment Agency flood status and river level beside it, and the live map plots your whole exploration history. A new tile counts the reports you've generated.

Clearer maps, steadier charts — the dark coverage and neighbourhood-fabric maps got a legibility lift so roads, water and town names read clearly on any screen, and report charts now draw reliably however and whenever their section is opened.

A new homepage and dashboard — the homepage now leads with the platform story: live status chips, a product preview, the real platform figures and a capabilities grid linking every live product. Your dashboard gained a live map of your saved and recently explored areas, plus a live signals card showing Environment Agency flood status and river levels for your first saved area.

Maps show their true colours — the flood-zone map on every report (and all other maps) now renders its original basemap and Environment Agency overlay colours, exactly as the source publishes them.

A calmer, sharper dark theme — the animated background is now a quieter depth layer with stronger text contrast, panels are solider, section menus highlight correctly as you scroll on every page, button hover states are fixed throughout, and the Pro PDF report wears the new navy-and-cyan identity.

UK area rankings — a new Rankings hub ranks every covered UK local authority on a single official signal — cheapest council tax, lowest crime density, closest schools, best broadband, cleanest air, closest green space and least deprived — plus blended "best for families" and "best to retire" views. Every figure links straight to the area's full report.

Place DNA fingerprint — the Intelligence page now draws a visual fingerprint of each place across safety, schools, green space, clean air, broadband and affordability, so you can read its character at a glance.

Everything links to everywhere — every postcode report now points to its borough and similar areas, every borough shows where it ranks nationally and the boroughs most like it, and the neighbourhood-fabric pages suggest who tends to thrive there. Discover places, don't just look them up.

Smoother intelligence navigator — the "on this page" menu is now grouped into clear sections on wide screens, and on mobile it follows along automatically as you scroll.

Compare — better for whom? — every comparison now scores both postcodes on four decision lenses (families, renters & young professionals, investor fundamentals, hidden-risk) and shows which area suits each — with the why. On Compare.

Intelligence workspace — the intelligence page now has a contextual "on this page" navigator on wide screens, so you can jump between scores, Place DNA, who-lives-here, trajectory and due-diligence like a workbench.

The Neighbourhood Fabric map now explains each layer as you switch it — flood risk, crime density, council tax, school distance, broadband and affluence — in one clear sentence with its official source. And the Intelligence scores now open with a short "how to read this" so the five lenses are easy to understand at a glance.

A clearer Intelligence page. Rebuilt as a command-centre: a result header for the postcode and its Place DNA, an executive summary of the area's strengths and watch-outs, then the five lens scores, who lives nearby, similar areas and how the area is trending — in one readable flow.

See where an area is heading. Direction-of-travel charts show how deprivation and council tax have moved over time, and a map plots comparable areas elsewhere in the country so you can explore alternatives without leaving the page.

Who lives here. A neighbourhood snapshot from the 2021 Census — age mix, household types, tenure and education — now sits on the Intelligence page. It describes the wider area, not the household at any single address.

Build on Truely. The same area intelligence is now available as an API and as an embeddable card you can drop onto any website in two lines of HTML — signals to weigh, always from official records.

Truely Intelligence now has a discovery layer: alongside any postcode it surfaces comparable areas elsewhere in the country that are cheaper, safer or greener — a starting point for "I like it here, but want one thing better." Built from official signals, not opinions.

A command-centre for places. The Intelligence page now leads with a sticky at-a-glance rail — postcode, all five lens scores and the area's Place DNA stay beside you as you read — with Place DNA as the editorial centrepiece.

Confidence you can actually read. Every score now shows how many of its inputs we hold for that postcode (for example, "5 of 5 signals") instead of a generic confidence label — so you can see exactly how complete the picture is.

Investor & Enterprise intelligence. Plans are now organised around the decisions they support — investment-grade analysis for property professionals, and a new Enterprise tier for organisations making location decisions at scale (API, portfolio screening, white-label reporting).

Whole-borough fabric maps. Neighbourhood Fabric maps now plot every covered postcode in a borough — all 4,567 across Hackney, for example — rather than a sample, so the character of an area reads block by block.

Maps you can reason with. On every borough page, the neighbourhood map now has signal layers — recolour every postcode by flood risk, crime density, school distance, broadband, council tax or affluence to see the pattern across the whole area at a glance.

Crime direction-of-travel. Every report's crime section now shows whether recorded crime near the postcode is improving, worsening or stable year-on-year — a rolling 12-month comparison (the ONS method), with a confidence note. Suppressed for low-volume areas where a percentage would be noise.
